Ivy Nyx McBride, infant daughter of Allyson Tillman and Charles McBride passed away on August 17, 2026 at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Richard "Scott" Dayhoff, 68, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 9:34 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to him. Born May 7, 1958, in Linton, Scott was the son of Jack Richard Dayhoff and Nylice Ann "Ann" (Cooper) Dayhoff. A 1976 graduate of Switz City High School, he later continued his education at Ivy Tech in Terre Haute. Scott built a career as an industrial electrician with Taghleef in Rosedale, Indiana, where his skill, work ethic, and practical know-how served him well. Scott was someone who enjoyed working with his hands and finding purpose in the things he loved. He had a passion for truck pulls, motorcycles, and the kinship that came along with it. He enjoyed working on vehicles, and he could appreciate the satisfaction that came from fixing, building, and making things run right. He also enjoyed harvesting persimmons, a simple tradition that reflected his appreciation for the outdoors and the familiar joys of home. Above all, Scott treasured time with his family. His greatest happiness came from being a husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, and the memories he created with those he loved will be carried forward by each of them. He attended the Bloomfield First Baptist Church, enjoying both in person and online services. He also enjoyed services through Linton First Christian Church. He is survived by his mother, Ann Dayhoff; his beloved wife of more than 48 years, Rebecca "Becky" Lynn (Newsom) Dayhoff; his children, Jason Scott Dayhoff and wife Kristin, and Kyla Ruth Dayhoff-Sylvester and husband Scott; five grandchildren, Jhonen Dayhoff, Jocilynn Dayhoff, Jackie Dayhoff, Hailey Hargrove, and Kaitlynn Sylvester; bonus grandchildren, Ameilia and Emily; and his brother, Roger Wayne Dayhoff and wife Susie. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Jack Richard Dayhoff. Scott will be remembered for his steady presence, his love of family, his hardworking nature, and the many ways he made life richer for the people fortunate enough to know him. Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, of Walton Funeral Service, on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 4:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Nathan Brooks officiating, pastor of Bloomfield First Baptist. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Family Life Center in Bloomfield or Pregnancy Choices, through the funeral home. Rebekah Ann “Becky” (Frye) Pope, 74, of Spencer, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, August 14, 2026.Born in Bloomington, Indiana, on June 15, 1952, Becky was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Ellen (Chambers) Frye. She was a graduate of Spencer High School and later married Donald Pope in 1999. Becky retired from Cook Inc. after many years of dedicated service.Becky had a special affection for animals and found great joy in caring for her dogs and cats and the strays around the neighborhood. She will be remembered for her kind heart, devotion to her family, and quiet care for those around her.She is survived by her brother, Robert (Karen) Frye; and her nieces and nephews, Shawn (Amanda) Frye, Melanie (Tim) Lighter, and Emily Robertson.She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Ellen Frye; and her husband, Donald Pope.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026, at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer, Indiana 47460. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Judy Ann (Cox) Sullivan, age 64, of Linton, passed away on Thursday August 6, 2026. Judy was a beloved Gram, sister, mother, and friend. Born on August 3, 1962, to Mary Lou and Bud Conklin.Judy was one of those people who could turn almost anything into a craft. She loved to color, draw, paint, and create, and was proudly known as the “Duct Tape Queen.” If there was something that could be decorated, painted, colored, or made into something new, Judy could find a way to do it. She was obsessed with cows, loved all animals, especially her beloved Charlie.One of Judy’s greatest joys was watching her grandchildren play sports. She loved being in the stands, cheering them on. She loved her Thursday trips to the Pub, where she enjoyed a good meal and the familiar company.Judy spent many years as a stay-at-home mother before later working at Dollar General, where she met so many people who came to love her.She coached her daughter’s softball teams and spent years bowling on a team. One of the greatest things about Judy was that she never limited her love to the child she gave birth to. She was a second mom to many. Her home was always full.Her grandchildren were among the greatest joys of her life.Judy was also someone who believed that love didn’t have to end when relationships changed. She remained close with her former husband, Joe Sullivan, after more than 20 years of marriage, and shared a warm relationship with his wife, Martha Sullivan, as well.She is survived by her daughter, Summer Joe Ann Sparks; and son-in-law, Trevor Sparks; her grandchildren, Ryder Joe, Baya Ray Ann, and Gracelynn Sparks; her brother, Larry Cox and his wife Anna; her sisters, Belldonna Hancock and her husband Dennis, Sharren Anderson and her husband Don, and Teresa Carpenter and her husband Danny; as well as her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, MaryLou and Bud Conklin, her brothers, Glen Cox, Owen Cox, and Rodney Cox; and her sister, Tina Collins.Rest easy, Mom.We will carry you with us.Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home of Walton Funeral Service Inc.A Celebration of Judy's wonderful life will be held at a later time.Online condolences can be shared at www.welchcornett.com.
